April is nationally recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Department of Family and Protective Services is working to heighten awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect throughout the state of Texas by incorporating a “Blue Ribbon Week” again this year that school districts, organizations, and the community can participate in . Help us spread the message that our State is "Taking a stance against Child Abuse and Neglect!" by dressing up each day during the week of April 5-9.
